Dr. Krishauna Hines-Gaither is an award winning diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) consultant to top-rated clients. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from UNC-Greensboro. She is a prolific scholar who has published multiple books and articles on DEI and education. Her work has been featured in the Insider, on Black Entertainment Television and beyond. Dr. Hines-Gaither is the inaugural Vice President for Equity, Diversity and Justice at Mount Saint Mary's University, Los Angeles.  She serves as a DEI Advisor to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and serves on national and local boards. Before entering the field of DEI, she was an award-winning Spanish professor. Her latest book is The Antiracist World Language Classroom (Routledge, 2023). She is fueled by spending time with her husband, Julian, and son, Giovanni. She is originally from North Carolina, and currently resides in Los Angeles. She is guided by Proverbs 1:2-3 "That we may gain wisdom and discipline to do what is right (integrity), just (justice) and fair (equity)."
